Connecticut’s new Jennifers’ Law, which went into effect last October, expanded domestic abuse to include coercive control – addressing the way perpetrators weaponize the court system. The law is named for two women who lost their lives to domestic violence – Jennifer Dulos and Jennifer Magnano.
